Herstat® is recommended for the rapid relief of the symptoms of cold sores.

Enriched with 3% PropolisACF®, Herstat® should be applied every two hours, up to 5x per day, for effective relief and best results.

In the natural world, propolis is the protector of the beehive. Made by bees from a mixture of plant and bud saps and mixed with their own enzymes, it defends the hive from disease and bacterias.

Due to it's natural properties, propolis can act as a natural preservative within human healthcare applications.

While many brands use watered-down propolis extracts, ours is a trademarked extract, traced to source (to one specific region of Canada), refined in our specialist lab and maintains a consistently high quality.

Herstat is a topical ointment containing petrolatum with natural propolis and other minor ingredients, manufactured to current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, and extensively tested for safety and effectiveness. It can be used as needed, anytime and as often as necessary.

Herstat is for external use only, and should not be used in or around the eyes.

Herstat contains propolis, that may cause skin irritation. For this reason, it should be tested the first time it is used by applying a small quantity on the skin of the arm, on the inside of the elbow, and checking for any reaction. If a skin reaction occurs - such as redness, itching and/or a rash - do not use the product.

Also, an allergic reaction (contact dermatitis) to one of the ingredients may rarely develop with use. If this happens, a skin irritation or rash may occur, and you should stop using the product. If problems persist for some time after stopping applying Herstat, consult your doctor or your health professional.

Herstat should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity/allergy to any of the ingredients - see list of ingredients on carton.

Herstat should be stored below 25 degrees centigrade and should be used before the expiry date.

Apply Herstat® Cold Sore Care and continue to apply at regular intervals throughout the day, up to 5 times, for best results.
